Reality and Fiction

Dream houses.

Most people could describe for you the type of house they would “ideally” live in. How many rooms, or where it would be, and the things we would fill it with.

There isn’t anything wrong, really, with having some version of a fantasy house (or job, or car, or whatever your thing is).

The trouble arises when we can no longer connect with the reality of what we do have, and we lose the ability to appreciate our lives, even if they are smaller than we might prefer.

So dream on. But don’t forget to wake up and enjoy what you do have, for one day that too will be gone.
